Shir Hadash History Trivia Quiz. Thanks trivia lovers for testing your knowledge about Shir Hadash’s 40 year journey on our 24-question Trivia Quiz. You may now discover the answers to all of the questions, and on May 30, be sure to tune in to our Gala Finale Program where we will confer the title of Trivia Quiz Master on our winner.
New Song Relief Fund. You can donate any time to the New Song Relief Fund. Every guest who makes a donation to this Fund, between April 17 and May 30, will be entered in our Many Thanks Drawing.
Online Auction. Our Online Auction is now open for bidding, and will close May 30. Everyone who places a bid in the auction, whether or not you are the ultimate winner, will be entered in our Many Thanks Drawing.
Many Thanks Drawing. We want to thank everyone in a very real way, for joining us virtually. Guests who donate to the New Song Fund between April 17 and May 30, or who submit bids in the Online Auction will be entered in our drawing. Using old school technology, we will put each donor’s name in our “Jar of Generosity.” On May 30, we will draw the names of three individuals. Each will win a $50 gift certificate to Flights of Los Gatos, one of our local restaurants giving back to the community.
Activities on May 30
May 30 Gala Finale. This will be the day to join us virtually for the May 30 Gala Finale. Beginning at 5pm, you will be able to enjoy messages for the congregation by President Joy Spodick and Rabbi Aron, “celebrate” Havdalah with the Cantor at 8pm, and wrap yourself in good feelings while viewing our special Tribute Video Honoring Rabbi Aron.
May 31 Post Gala Glow. We extend our thanks to all guests! All auction winners will be emailed instructions on payment and distribution of auction items. We will continue to post the winner of the History Quiz, plus Drawing Prize winners, and you may continue to view the May 30 Gala Finale program videos.
